Reading A-Z

Your school district likely already has a Learning A-Z account that you can access this from.  This website has books for students grouped based off their Lexile Level, which you can ask your student's teacher for.  You can sort based off their levels and endless categories within the level!

Bookflix.digital.scholastic.com

This virtual read-aloud website is a video-enhanced version of beloved favorite books!  It brings the illustrations to life with highlighted captions of the text on each page.  Your school might already have a subscription, or most public county libraries will provide you access!

Your Local Library!

Librarians have a WEALTH of knowledge of the books in their children's section.  Just give them a general idea of where your child's reading level is at, how you want to challenge your child, and what topics they are interested in.  Libraries will have excellent, no-tech options, and you can typically check out upwards of 30 books at a time!  Use this as a social skills and life skills lesson with your child- teach them to talk with the librarian about their likes and interests, learn how to use the catalog system, and how to be quiet while others are reading.
