The reading fun doesn't stop!- Extend Your Student's Comprehension
CREATE A WRITING PROMPT FOR YOUR STUDENT

Then, write 1 sentence about what you liked in Where the Wild Things Are.
Last, write 1 sentence about what you disliked in Where the Wild Things Are.
ANSWER more comprehension questions using a graphic organizer
-Use a organizer format to answer about the whole book:
Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
-Use a Venn diagram to compare and contrast the character to the student, or the setting to your own setting of home
-Use a flowchart to sequence the events in a story

RESEARCH about what you read
After reading Greta and the Giants, we know that the Giants are the ones destroying our environment. Go online and research the real Greta Thunberg and climate change. Learn about what is happening to the Earth currently. How can we make change? What can your student in particular do to help? Find a continuing activity, such as picking up trash. Find ways your book relates to your community- and then connect to It.
